Bungalow Renovation

The bungalow renovation on Adam Streets’ classic 1920’s home was required to fix up revamps and additions that were previously done in the 80’s and 90’s which as a result left the interior with poor flow and a disjointed feel.

Initially the basic requirements were an addition of two bedrooms and a bathroom; to accomodate the merging of two families. As this process evolved, it provided a fantastic opportunity to renovate and redesign the previous problematic areas, therefore creating better indoor outdoor flow and cohesion. With the assistance of architect Noor from Nala Studio,  the formally awkward lounge was transformed into two bedrooms, as well as a new bathroom. A new open plan lounge and kitchen with its own booth area was created, along with a new bathroom & laundry.

Complete interior design services were required, consisting of exterior & interior paint selections, new kitchen and bathroom designs, including all tile selections, cabinetry and hardware choices, bespoke joinery and roof stairs, using the space in the attic for additional storage .
